|Dr. Kristopher Aalderink
Dr. Kristopher Aalderink is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1999 and the University of Michigan Medical School in 2003. He completed his orthopedic residency at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Aalderink also completed an Orthopedic Surgery Sports Fellowship at the University of Iowa in 2009. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He has an additional Subspecialty certificate in orthopedic sports medicine, and volunteers as the team physician for Plymouth-Canton-Salem High School, Saline High School, and Concordia University. Dr. Aalderink is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.
Special interests are arthroscopy of shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle as well as meniscal transplantation, corrective osteotomies and cartilage restoration.
